The passing of Dorothy Anne Burroughs of Hudgins, Virginia leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on April 19, 2025 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Dea and Lelia Virginia Bratton Ailsworth; her husband Wilbur Coles Burroughs; and her daughter Deborah Anne Burroughs. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Deakyne and Wilbur Coles Burroughs II; and her daughter-in-law Marianne. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel (160 Main St, Mathews, VA 23109). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. Please call 757-645-6508 to RSVP by Monday, April 28th.
