She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest L. Kirby and Ethel Nadine Johnson Kirby; her husband Billy G. Ferguson; and her brothers, Coy and Kyle Kirby.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Tuck (Claudius) and Tony G. Ferguson (Vickie); her grandchildren, Tonya T. Nance, Kennon Tuck (Alicia), Brandon Tuck (Cheryl), Jill and Clay Ferguson; her great great grandchild Emmie; her niece Rhonda Ferguson; her brother John Kirby (Brenda); her sisters-in-law, Barbara Mayhew (Leonard) and Brenda Howard (Gene); and also Kaden. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
In true Shirley fashion, she left everything on the field to fight COVID.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Mentow Baptist Church Cemetery, 3282 Mentow Drive, Huddleston, VA 24104.
