She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul L. Stewart and Jessie Garnett Gill Stewart; her husband James Hanson Swart, Jr.; and her brother Paul L. Stewart, Jr.. She is survived by: her sister Barbara Stewart Barnes; her sister-in-law Donna Stewart; her nephew Charles J. Barnes, Jr.; her niece Kitty Tomkinson; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Shannon, Jessica, John (Yuran) and Dustin; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jordan (Josh) and Paul Stewart III (Chrysty); her foster daughters, Donna, Allie, Rose, Vickie and Elaine; and also, Robin Sizemore Stewart, Miles of Emilee, J. T., Jacob and Sara.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests those wishing to make memorials to consider the Staunton Baptist Church, Saunders Volunteer Fire Department, the American Red Cross or the Huddleston Rescue Squad.
