She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Blane Alt and Etta Florence Shreeve Alt; and her husband James Franklin Neff, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Reverend James Franklin Neff, Jr. (Beth) of Hot Springs, Virginia Robert P. "Bob" Neff (Debbie) and Nancy Neff Zimmerman (Les) of Harrisonburg, Virginia; and her grandchildren, Heather DeBoe (James), Phillip Neff (Jessie), Dawn Nickleson (Dave), Michael Neff (Bronté), Jared Zimmerman, Clay Zimmerman and Avery Zimmerman. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
