It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Leona Swindell Salyers (Hot Springs, Virginia), born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 10, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleon Lee Swindell and Ruth Joan Danilchuk Swindell; her husband Charles Edward Salyers; and her sister Donna Lea Fink. She is survived by: her children, Lee Salyers of Norfolk and Trudy (Russ Woodzell) of Hot Springs; her grandchildren, Erica Salyers (Michael "Buddy" French) of Suffolk, Anthony Hollard of Maine, Zach Woodzell (Hannah) of North Augusta and Ryan Woodzell (Summer) of Limestone, Tennessee; her sisters, Joan Greta Stallings (Larry) of Sandbridge and Diana Ruth Golden of Coinjock; and her sisters-in-law, Lorraine Salyers of Norfolk, Virginia and Judy Salyers of Norfolk, Virginia. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
