It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Gordon Thacker of Hot Springs, Virginia, born in Covington, Virginia, who passed away on February 20, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Kubelik Thacker; her parents, John Jacob Gordon and Della Hinton Gordon; her daughter Deborah C. Kingery; and her siblings, John William Gordon, Eleanor G. Sappe, Mary Margaret Whitehead and Patricia Nadine Geld Macher.
She is survived by: her brothers, James Thomas Gordon of Covington and Delanor Lee Gordon of Tennessee. She is also survived by two grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
