He is survived by : his sons, Donald Jr. of Ohio, Douglas of Denver, CO, Eric of Richmond and Anthony (Tony); his step-daughter La Shawn Powell (Junior) of Upper Marlboro, MD; his siblings, Bertha DeBrill, Albert Cardwell, James Cardwell and Rucker Cardwell Jr.; and his niece LaShonda DeBrill. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, one great grandson.
