He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Dickens and Edna Hester Stevenson Dickens; his granddaughter Jamie Lynn Dickens; and his sisters, Goldie Amburgey, Faye Bowman and Minnie Havens.
He is survived by: his wife Reba Yvonne Dickens; his sons, Ken Dickens (Susan) of Fredericksburg, VA and Kevin Lee Dickens (Jean) of Horsepen, VA; his siblings, Butch Dickens of Christiania, DE and Lou Watters of Maryland; and his grandchildren, Morgan Dickens, Brooke Dickens and Justin Fletcher.
