She was predeceased by: her mother Annie Perry of Hopewell, Virginia.; her grandson Antonio Spain; and her siblings, Lillian Taylor, Phyllis Marsh and Luther Perry.
She is survived by: her husband Jerome McDougal; her children, Christopher Gilyard of Columbus, GA, Giovanni McDougal of Hopewell, VA, Rafael Perry of Hopewell, VA, Rasheda Ruffin of Hopewell, VA, Ophelia McDougal of Hopewell, VA and Ossie McDougal of Hopewell, VA; her siblings, Carol Gilyard (Roy) of Columbus, GA, Ethel Thompson of Columbia, SC, Evelyn Perry of Hopewell, VA, Bridgette Bowman (James) of Memphis, TN, Alice Parker of Hopewell, VA, Kevin McKiever of Atlanta, GA and Larry Pettaway (Dalmaris) of Atlanta, GA; and her sister-in-law Rita Webster of Hopewell, VA. She is also survived by grandchildren and 25 plus great grandchildren.
