She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlie Leland Law and Urie McCormick Law; her husband Henry Benson Ellis; her daughter Lawana Faye Ellis Deamell; her grandson Jeffrey Monroe Ellis; and her great grandchild Margaret Louise Hollifield.
She is survived by: her sister Ella Marie McCormick Jamison of East Wenatchee; her children, Donald Eugene Ellis (Juanita) of Cleveland, Edwin Michael Ellis (Wynell) of Fort Walton Beach and Mary Annette Ellis Hollifield (Charles) of Hopewell; and her grandchildren, Bruce Ellis (Robin) of Charles City, VA, Hope Zeis (Sean) of Williamsburg, VA, Jaina Spencer (Van) of Black Lick, OH, Alisa Triplett (Kyle) of Seminole, FL, Alana Fulmer (Mark) of Newnan, GA, Gina Voraritskul (Braton) of Sugar Land, TX, Joy Ellis of Falls Church, VA, Paul Hollifield (Anne) of Crozet, VA and Stephen Hollifield (Cheryl) of Richmond, VA. She is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
