Martinez of Hopewell, Virginia, born in Petersburg, Virginia, who passed away on September 3, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert J. Woods and Dorothy Slate Woods; her husband Ventura "Tony" Martinez; and her brother Robert J. "Popeye" Woods, Jr.. She is survived by: her son Gregory W. Richardson; her grandchildren, Nick and Landis Richardson; her siblings, Charles M. Woods, Betty L. Vinson, Diane Baggett (Bobby) and Margaret A. Eggleston; and her caregiver Katherine. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
