It is with great sadness that we announce the death of José Alberto Jaco of Hopewell, Virginia, who passed away on December 3, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of José Alberto Jaco to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parent Jeronimo Alfonso Jaco; and his sister Cleotilde Jaco. He is survived by: his mother Emma Carballo of Jaco; his wife Amalia Menendez of Jaco; his sons, Albert Jose Jaco (Mary), Henry Alfonso Jaco (Meghan), Ronald Alexis Menendez (Roxana) and Jose Rigoberto Menendez (Patricia); his grandchildren, Daniela Guzman, Jeffrey Guzman, Mariana Guzman, Lesley Menendez, Dominic "Coco" Menendez, Jade Menendez, D'Alessandro Menendez, Camila Menendez and Leandro Menendez; and his sisters, Dora Pacheco, Ana Maria Menendez, Maria Jaco and Rosa Alba Reyes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service (6500 Iron Bridge Rd, Richmond, VA 23234). A procession was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 9:30 AM. A graveside service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sunset Memorial Park (2901 W Hundred Rd, Chester, VA 23831).
