She was predeceased by: her father Will Roger Rives; and her grandson Jasiah Rives. She is survived by: her mother Winnie Rives; her children, JaQuan Rives, Sr. (Deyjah) and Jada Rives; her boyfriend Michael Mckey; her grandchildren, JaQuan Rives, Jr., Skylar Rives and Kayleigh Brown; her siblings, Roger Rives, Sr. (Sandra), Ronnie Rives (Vanessa), Katherine Tucker (Derrick), Kevin Rives (Johnna), Larry Rives (Arnesia), Katrina Rives, April and Teira Rives (Bobby); her aunts, Rosa Wyatt, Barbara Johnson, Helen Bowles and Thelma Jones; and her uncle Benjamin Thompson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, along with several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc. (102 South Ave, Petersburg, VA 23803-4220). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Tabernacle Baptist Church (418 Halifax St, Petersburg, VA 23803). A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at the Dinwiddie Memorial Park (7324 Church Rd, Petersburg, VA 23803).
