It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deacon Willard C. Jones (Hopewell, Virginia), who passed away on January 28, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Uzzell Jones and Annie Jones (Newkark); his son Joseph Casino Jones; and his stepsons, Tom Albert Dunn and Nick Allen Dunn.
He is survived by: his children, Wayne Alonzo Jones (Gladys) of Bridgeport, CT and Yolanda Regina Massenburg (Clarence) of Chester, VA; his wife Mae Bell Jones (Richardson); his daughter Emma Dunn of White Plains, VA; his grandchildren, Jolissia A. Thomas, Nia Walker, Najia Walker-Pettway (Eugene), Mike Dunn, Curtis Dunn (Theresa) and Shawn Dunn; and his sister Sarah Jones. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
