With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Christopher Stephaun Richardson of Hopewell, Virginia, who passed away on April 8, 2025 at the age of 46. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Cortez Leon "Carter" Bratton and Jean Richardson Bratton. He is survived by: his parents, Joyce Alease Richardson of Bluefield, WV and Jerry M. Gore, Jr. of Florida; his children, Yazmine Richardson and Izaiah Stephaun Richardson; his godson Nolan Hartzog; his former wife Essince Danyel Nesmith of Rochester, NY; his mother-in-law Debra Pedraza of Rochester, NY; and his close friends, James D., Sonja R. Gray, Marshall S. Trotter, Fedena Mathis, Lynette C. Magee and Alisha V. Jackson. He is also survived by cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and special military friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home (1507 N Walker St, Princeton, WV 24740). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
