She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Elizabeth Hensley Brookman and Ellis Ewell Brookman; and her sisters, Margaret Conley and Betty Mullis. She is survived by: her daughter Dawn "Mitzi" (Eric Strosnyder) of Winchester, VA; her grandchildren, Meghan Strosnyder, Ericka Strosnyder, Nicholas Strosnyder, Hannah Strosnyder and Alexandra Strosnyder; her great grandchildren, Emmy Burroughs and Sophie Burroughs; her niece Carolyn (Garry Smithson); and her nephews, Dennis Conley, Herbert (Allison Ennis) and Kevin (Stephanie Conley).
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Preddy Funeral Home Chapel, Madison, Va (59 Edgewood School Ln, Madison, VA 22727). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
