Though Edward Vern may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Edward Vern touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leotha Page Pritchett and Ruby Olive McDaniel Pritchett; his wife Alyce Yvonne Pritchett; his daughters, Mandy and Melanie Pritchett; and his siblings, Charles Pritchett and Evelyn Pritchett.
He is survived by: his children, David Anthony Pritchett, George Workman, Lisa Laughery and Shelly Smalley.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Preddy Funeral Home (59 Edgewood School Ln, Madison, VA 22727).
