He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl G. Newberry and Hazel Clara Whited Newberry; and his sister Betty Boyd. He is survived by: the mother of his children Pamela Newberry; his children, Whitney Newberry (Samantha VanDyke), Justin Newberry and Lyndsey Newberry (T. J. Hale); his grandson Sevan Wells; his siblings, Ruby Addison (Earl), Billie Jean Shortt, Shirley Hopkins, Ella Ball (Bob), Ruth Gearhart (William) and Warren Newberry (Dena Bostic); his mother-in-law Ellen Carello; and his brother-in-law Alan Viers. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
