She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Grover Lambert and Pearl Howard Lambert; her husband Kenneth Compton; her in-laws, Walter and Mary Smith Compton; and her siblings, Raymond Lambert, Grover Lambert, Jerry Lambert, Arbutis Walker (Bill) and Carol Austin (Lee).
She is survived by: her daughters, Evelyn Compton (Randy) of Council, Teresa Sullivan (Loman) of Abingdon and Tonya Thompson (Mike) of Council; her grandchildren, Ethan Sullivan (Haley Jenkins), Keegan Sullivan (Lauren Cupp), Kiara Thompson and Jaiden Thompson; her great grandchild Lainey Sullivan; her grandchildren, Shane Compton (Cassie) and Jordan Miller (Tyler); her great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Aspen, Roan Compton and Maggie Miller; her sisters, Loretta Mayle (Stan) of Tampa and Louise Howell (Lacey) of Jefferson; and her sister-in-law Anna Robinson of Lebanon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Honaker Funeral Home (4686 Redbud Hwy, Honaker, VA 24260). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
