We bid farewell to Shelby Annette Johnson of Honaker, Virginia, born in Swords Creek, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 26, 2024 at the age of 85. Shelby touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Winfred Steele and Eula Lee Quick Steele; and her brothers, Carl and Bill Steele. She is survived by: her husband Sam Johnson; her sons, Matt Johnson (Jennifer) of Moraga and Gregg Johnson (Melissa) of Castlewood, Virginia; her grandchildren, Connor Johnson, Walker Johnson and Gracie Johnson; and her caregivers, Kissito Maple Grove and Helena Smith. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Swords Creek Community Baptist Church Family Life Center Fund would be welcome.
