He was predeceased by: his parents, Garnett William and Lola Belle Harris; his siblings, Orville Lee Harris, J. T. Harris, Chester Harris, Claude Allen Harris and Patty Sue Harris; and his sisters-in-law, Millie Harris, Betty Harris and Terry Harris.

He is survived by: his brother David Harris of Honaker; and his caregivers, Pam Arwood and Jaride Barton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
