She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Combs and Gracie Hurt Combs; her husband Curtis Compton; her son-in-law Ron Smith; her grandson Todd Smith; and her siblings, Bill, Carter, Burton, Clyde Combs, Blanche Foleno, Gay Logan and Chola Fogleman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joann Ratliff (Don) of Vansant and Joyce Smith of Abingdon; her grandchildren, Jackie Green (Brian) of Oceola, Jennifer Ratliff of Vansant, Amanda Owens (Fabian) of Lebanon and Jessica Bailey (Bo) of Mendota; her great grandchildren, Austin Smith, Morgan Smith Booher (Jordan), Danielle Watson, Sydney Bailey, Ethan Owens, Braedyn Bailey, Broadie Bailey, Lydia Owens, Haiden Booher and Hadleigh Kait Booher; her brother Farley Combs (Loretta) of Bee; and her sisters-in-law, Angie Combs of Copperhead, Pat Combs of Fairborne, Virginia Compton of Council and Ada Compton of North Carolina. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
