It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Edward Mathis (Honaker, Virginia), born in Portsmouth, Ohio, who passed away on March 18, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Mathis and Georgia Renko; and his half-brothers, Lee Renko and Victor Renko. He is survived by: his wife Judy Mathis; his children, Jeffrey Mathis (Jody), Michael Mathis (Tammy) and Alicia Owens (Larry); his grandchildren, Megan Mathis-Gilbert (Jeff), Hannah Mathis, Justin Mathis (Kayla), Emily Holley, Madison Mathis and Jalisa Mathis; his stepgrandson Ryan Owens (Chelsea); his great grandchildren, Lincoln Mathis, Hollan Mathis and Eleanor Gilbert; his siblings, Phyllis Osborne, Patricia Healey, Louise Orndorff, Shirley Sublett, Doris Mathis, Linda Noble (Larry) and Charles Michael Mathis; and his half-brothers, Jackie Renko and Marshall Renko. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
