He is survived by: his wife Nannie Sykes; his sons, Michael Lee Sykes and Waylon Shane Sykes; his grandchildren, Kallie, Maddox, Shalee, Keelee, Kenzlee and Sophie; his mother Shirley Kiser Sykes; his siblings, Barbara Jean Sykes, Kim Sykes Kingsley and David Lee Sykes; and his siblings-in-law, Brenda Deel and Ronnie Roe.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Honaker Funeral Home (4686 Redbud Hwy, Honaker, VA 24260). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Hills Memory Gardens (19415 Lee Hwy, Abingdon, VA 24210).
