It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretha Compton (Honaker, Virginia), born in Buchanan, Virginia, who passed away on August 10, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hensley Rice and Deladis Crabtree Rice; her husband Joe Harper Compton; her sisters, Carol Marpoe, Regina Ramey and Shelia Corona; her daughter-in-law Debb Compton; and her granddaughter Elizabeth Compton.
She is survived by: her sons, Rick Compton (Leshia) of Bealeton, VA and Mick Compton of Hurricane Creek; her grandchildren, Corrinn Compton and Alex Compton; her great grandchild Piper Compton; and her siblings, Butch Rice, Rita Talbert, Linda Edwards and Anita Benson.
