Larry Shortt Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 24, 2023, at the age of 71, Larry Shortt of Honaker, Virginia, born in Buchanan, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Pearl Mae Street Shortt; and his siblings, Lee McKinley Shortt, Troy Edward Shortt and Martha Shortt Horton. He is survived by: his wife Patty Sue Owens Shortt; his daughter Cynthia "Cindy" Jane Shortt; his siblings, Virgie Shortt Clark (Joe) of Battlecreek, Patsy Shortt McKinley (Paul) of Summersville, Madine Shortt Owens (Bill) of Abingdon and Pete Henry Shortt (Dawn) of Marshall, Michigan; and his siblings-in-law, Ann Bostic (Perry), Brenda Boyd Shortt, Tindara Shortt and Larry Horton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
