He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Roman and Niada Honaker Roman; and his siblings, Hubert Roman, Dolly Whited, Shelby Munsey and Lorene McGlothlin.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Roman; his sons, Mike Roman (Barbara) of Honaker and Rick Roman of Honaker; and his grandchildren, Nicole Roman of Roanoke, Kiana Roman (Blake Stinson) of Honaker and Ben Roman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
