He is survived by: his wife Shirley Jean Thompson; his children, Clinton Thompson (Johnnie Belinda) of Rosedale, Jack Emory Thompson (Amma Lou) of Honaker, Virginia and Julie Cochran (Jeff) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Cassie Reynolds, Zachary Cochran and Adam Thompson (Anna); his great grandchild Katie Reynolds; and his siblings, R. L. Thompson of Honaker, Virginia, Kitty Lusby of Prince Fredrick and Nancy Bensing of North Beach, Maryland. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
