He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Whitt and Maggie Harris. He is survived by: his mother Anna J. Harris Chaney of Illinois; his sisters, Billie Jean Lopez (Tony) of Indiana and Virginia Graham (Hugh) of Indiana; his cousin Jackie M. Morrison (Donnie) of Castlewood; his brothers, Joey Chaney (Cindy) of Illinois and John Robert Chaney (Nicole) of Illinois; and his aunt Darlene McGlothlin of Cleveland. He is also survived by several loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
