He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Cassell and Sallie Gibson Cassell; and his sons, Bradley Scott Cassell and Charles Allen Cassell. He is survived by: his spouse Joann Cassell; his grandson Brandon Cassell (Courtney); his great grandchild Annabelle Cassell; and his sister Shelby Jean Blankenship.
