He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Newberry and Eula Whited Newberry; his brothers, Willard Newberry, Carl Newberry and Don Newberry; his daughter-in-law Karen Newberry; and his great grandchild Annie Blake Whited.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Hart Newberry; his children, Stephanie Mann (Jeff) of Mount Carmel, Jennifer Eaton (Jim) of Belfast, Chad Newberry of Rosedale, Christy Ryland (Chris) of Soddy-Daisy and Lori Arnold (Rob) of Kingsport, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Brandon Newberry (Ashlee), Brett Newberry (Destiny), Alexandra Whited (Tyler), Austin Payne, Hunter Eaton and Addison Ryland; and his great grandchildren, Jozie Newberry, Andrew Newberry and Lainey Whited. He is also survived by great-grandson, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Honaker Funeral Home (4686 Redbud Hwy, Honaker, VA 24260). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
