He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Watson and Winnie Grace Brown Watson; his wife Rita Watson; his siblings, Gene "Greek" Watson and Ruth Marshall; his siblings-in-law, Dean Watson and Earl Marshall; and his nephews, Greg Watson and Herbie Marshall.
He is survived by: his daughters, Beverly Sargent (Dougie) of Paintlick and Rhonda Wade; his grandchildren, Mark Wade (Alysse), Megan Lester (J. L.), Shawn Sargent (Ariel), Austin Wade (Maegen), Jason Wade, Lakin Keene, Sammi Sargent, Nick Waldruff and Skyli Sargent; his siblings, Jack Watson, Arnold "Sparkie" Watson (Daisy), Billy Watson (Anita) and Peggy Combs; his sister-in-law Phyllis Watson; and his mother-in-law Mary Frances Taylor. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
