It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Wayne Saunders of Hiwassee, Virginia, who passed away on November 8, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Mack Lewis Saunders Jr.; and his grandparents, Maxwell, Hallie Saunders, Burt and Margret Duncan.
He is survived by: his mother Alice Faye Duncan Saunders (Annette Elaine Saunders); his children, Mark Wayne Saunders II, Eric Dewayne Saunders (Cheryl) and Markie Nicole Saunders (Derrick); his stepchildren, Angela, Paul, Pierce and Asher; his sister Susan Alderman (Brad); and his stepgrandchildren, Sadie, Charli, Gabe and Grandkittens. He is also survived by Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
