He is survived by: his mother Norma Jean Woods Richards; his siblings, Betty Brown, Patricia Redden, Rose Burton, Calvin Richards and Everette Richards; his children, Samantha Richards Smith (Jason) of Jonesborough, TN and David Eric Richards (Stephani) of Radford; and his grandchildren, Clara Smith, Joel Smith, Trenton Smith, Silas Richards and Paisley Richards.
