He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Arthur Sheets and Ethel Green Earhart Sheets; and his siblings, Billy Sheets, Michael Sheets, Peggy Leonard, Elizabeth Mangano and Jeanette Ratcliffe.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Anne Boyd Sheets; his children, Michael Wayne Sheets, Dublin, Vickie Love (J. R. Jones) and Tina Leigh Meyer; his grandchildren, Erin Boyd, Tara Rupe, Bethany Wyrick and Bryanna Love; his great grandchildren, Abigail Boyd, Carter Boyd, Madeleine Boyd, Lydia Morris, Emma Rupe, Chloe Rupe and Annaleigh Wyrick; his great great grandchildren, Joseph Wickline and Nicolette Tabor; and his siblings, Jimmy Sheets (New Orleans), Warren Sheets (Opal), Pulaski and Mitzi Bain (Radford). He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Shiloh Cemetery.
