It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Lilly of Hinton, Virginia, who passed away on March 28, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Lilly to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Lee and Martha Irene Webb Moyers; her husband Raymond Boyd Lilly; her son-in-law Robert Sellers; and her siblings, Richard Moyers, Sally Furr, Bill Moyers, Lucille Pennington and Betty Justice.

She is survived by: her children, Shelby Sellers of Hinton, Samuel G. Lilly (Linda) of Rockingham and Ben Lilly (Marie) of Dayton; her sister Margie Roller; her grandchildren, André Sellers, Fonia Lilly Cook, Raymond L. Lilly, Samuel G. Lilly Jr., Zeb Lilly and Will Lilly; and her brother-in-law Athel Furr. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.

Due to COVID 19 restrictions, there will be social distancing and masks are required.

Flowers are welcome, however memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Olive Presbyterian Church, P.O. 182, Hinton, VA 22831.

Mrs. Lilly was such a warm and endearing person....who joined us during MANY Carl family gatherings through the years. She was always welcome and always shared such a loving smile (along with her wonderful culinary talents.) Hopefully she is enjoying a heavenly reunion with her husband, Raymond.
