He is survived by: his father Samuel Rice Houston, III (Beckley); his sister Wendie Alderman (Lloyd) of Hinton; his niece Jazmyne Alderman of Hinton; his nephew Lloyd Alderman (Shannon) of Crab Orchard; and his great-nephews, Easton and Raylan Alderman. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
