She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Edwards and Betty Pettrey Edwards of Summers County; and her brother C. E. Edwards, II. She is survived by: her son Derrick Leslie; her daughter-in-law Missy Leslie of Hinton; her grandsons, Hunter Scott Leslie (Alison) of Beckley and Dylan Allen Leslie (Emily McClung) of Hinton; her siblings, Cheryl McCoy (Jim) of Hillsboro, WV, Dawn Pachuta (Andy) of Chesapeake, VA and Gregory Edwards of Lavalette, WV; her aunts, Stella Falvo of Pipestem, WV. and Betty Ellison of Pipestem, WV.; and her caregivers, Joann Campbell, Lisa Woods, Jessica Brogan, Connie Smith, Dusty Gardner and Betsy Cole.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pivont Funeral Home Chapel (100 Park Ave, Hinton, WV 25951). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Tunnels to Towers.
