It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Jo Hopps of Hinton, Virginia, who passed away on January 29, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Nancy Jo may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She is survived by: her children, Roxana, Benjamin and Jeremy; and her sister Betty Lemieux. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pivont Funeral Home Chapel (100 Park Ave, Hinton, WV 25951). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Flowers are welcome, but in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Friends of the Summers County Library.
