Arvella Whetzel Finnigan Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arvella Whetzel Finnigan (Hinton, Virginia), who passed away on January 31, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Loy O. Whetzel and Ottie B. Whetzel (Ratcliff); her son Douglas Finnigan; and her siblings, Marie Dahmer, Ardella Clear and Arlie Whetzel.
She is survived by: her sons, Ernest Finnigan of Harrisonburg, Bryan Finnigan (Etha) of Harrisonburg and Wayne Finnigan (Jeanne) of Lexington Park, MD; her daughter-in-law Sarah Finnigan of Elliston; and her siblings, Luella Montgomery of Alexandria, Louise Butler (Joe) of McGaheysville, William Whetzel (Phyllis) of Daphanie and Virgil Whetzel (Gayle) of Mount Crawford. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
