He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence P. Faust and Ota Theta Faust (Bays); and his wife Joanne L Faust. He is survived by: his children, Debra, Allen Dougherty of Gate City, VA, Amy, J. T. Kite of Fall Branch, TN, David, Elaine Faust of Kingsport, TN and Dennis Faust of Hiltons, VA; his grandchildren, Lisa Meade (Andy), Beth Johnson (Luke), Allison Luster (Tyler), Myra Faust, Wyatt Faust, Kyla Faust, Morgan Kite and Maggie Kite; his great grandchildren, Brett Baker, Karley Faust, Gavin Faust, Addyson Faust, Bailee Faust, Ember Faust and Camryn Meade; his brother Preston; his sister-in-law Mary Helen Faust of Hiltons, VA; and his close friends, Gloria Sims, Cecil and Betty Tester. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shades of Grace Church in Kingsport, TN or to the Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church cemetery fund in Hiltons, VA.
