He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Blalock and Minnie Hensley Blalock; his brothers, Robert E. Blalock (Bonnie), Herman Blalock and Carl Blalock; and his nephew Bruce M. Blalock.
He is survived by: his wife Remona Kay "Betsy" Blalock; his sons, Caleb Starnes and Justin McMurray (Jessica); his stepson Dustin Carter (Holly); his granddaughters, Rayanne Carter and Adalynn Starnes; his brother Grady Blalock (Shirley); and his close friends, Morris Gardner and Wayne Leonard. He is also survived by two nephews, one niece, several great nieces and nephews; several cousins and friends.
