He is survived by: his wife Janice Newton Hammond; his daughters, Mauricia Moore (Jerry) of Church Hill, TN and Kendra McElyea (Tim); his siblings, Pat Hammond (Racheal) and Betty Ellis (Bob); his grandchildren, Gabby McElyea and Alexis Moore; his siblings-in-law, Calvin and Shelia Newton; his sons-in-law, Tim McElyea and Jerry Moore; his grandchildren, Damien McElyea, Dalton McElyea and Devin McElyea; and his friend Scotty Lucas. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and special friends.
