With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Oran Lee Blackburn of Hiltons, Virginia, born in Norton, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 26, 2024 at the age of 94. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oran Lee Blackburn, Sr. and Mabel Blackburn (Mullins); his former wife Jean Blackburn; his wife Shirley Blackburn; and his siblings, Barbara Richardson, Jeanette Tomlinson, Yvonne Carter, Christine Jones, Norma Odum, Roberta Stewart, Thomas, Francis and Keith Blackburn.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ruth Ann Fugate of Hiltons, VA and Joe Blackburn of Knoxville, TN; and also, Ashley, Paul Murray, Charles Oran and Noah. He is also survived by his family, church family and friends.
