She was predeceased by: her parents, Cardes Bledsoe and Della M. Bledsoe (Scalf); and her siblings, Eugene, May Bledsoe, Lloyd Bledsoe, James Shirley Bledsoe and Christine McNutt.

She is survived by: her siblings, Geraldine Hammonds, Gladine Gibson, George Bledsoe (Thelma), Lynn Bledsoe and Ray Bledsoe. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
