He is survived by: his children, Brenda Gail McMurray Starnes and William David McMurray; his wife Genevieve McMurray of Hiltons, VA; his daughter Remona Kay "Betsy" Blalock (Raymond) of Hiltons, VA; his daughter-in-law Kim Laney McMurray; his brother William "Bill" McMurray of Blountville, TN; his grandchildren, Justin, Jessica McMurray of Kingsport, TN, Caleb Starnes of Hiltons, VA, Daniel, Emily McMurray, Keith, Shea McMurray of Kingsport, TN, Dustin, Holly Carter of Nickelsville, VA and Abigail Starnes of Knoxville, TN; and his great grandchildren, Rayanne Carter, Adalynn Starnes and Willa McMurray. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
