It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Basham of Hillsville, Virginia, born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on December 10, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward and Sarah Jane Stanley Basham. He is survived by: his wife Judith "Judi" Golden Basham; his children, Chasity Bunn (Kevin) of Gibsonville, Kevin Basham (Jennifer Cook) of Eden, Paul Basham (Jenny) of Burlington and Dwayne Basham of Burlington; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Bunn, Faith Basham, Austin Bunn, Lydia Basham, Matthew Basham, Calvin Basham and Kelsi Allred; and his siblings, Mike Basham (Virginia) of Burlington, Junior Basham (Ruby) of Burlington, Deborah Davis (Steve), Peggy Gerringer (Bruce) and Sandra Thompson.
