With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Carole Nester of Hillsville, Virginia, who passed away on September 15, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Conduff Nester and Cloie Dalton Nester; and her brothers, H. C. Bussie Nester and Tommy Nester. She is survived by: her siblings, Connie Nester, Jean Surratt, Joan (Namon Strickland), Rebecca (Sandy Hendrick) and Bennie; and her sisters-in-law, Eva Sue Nester and Darla W. Nester. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crooked Oak Missionary Baptist Church or to the Gideons.
