He was predeceased by: his parents, George Edwards and Drucilla White Edwards; his wife Mary Frost Edwards; and his daughter Pamela Sue Edwards. He is survived by: his sons, Roger (Linda Edwards), Marvin (Bonnie Edwards) and Michael (Cindy Edwards); his grandchildren, Melissa Edwards, Daniel Edwards and Kristen Beamer; and his sister Doris Poole of Galax. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
