He is survived by: his wife Mary Joyce Branscome Horton; his children, Cynthia Horton Blevins (Virgil Blevins), Susan Horton Thompson (Bobby Thompson), Mark Elwood Horton (Connie Horton) and Jeffrey Damon Horton (Lorrie Horton); his grandchildren, Sarah Horton Shinault (Kyle Shinault), Jared Horton, Luke Horton, Logan Thompson, Lane Horton and Afton Thompson; his great grandchild Palmer Gray Shinault; his sisters, Bonnie Faye (Charles Sumner), Eva Sue (Bennie Nester) and Dana Lou (Elden Marshall); and his sister-in-law Jo Ann Horton.
